Tightly woven in tea-dyed wool, these attractive little rugs are very hard wearing and versatile. The weaving is Soumak technique and the rug lies flat on the floor. The rahrahs originate from the Kerman region of Iran but these days they are mostly woven by nomadic Kurds in N Iraq & SE Turkey.
